missingWrote a review on Mar 08helpful staffgreat breakfastspa closure
Staff at Walliserhof were incredibly helpful, providing thorough information about ski passes and recommendations for attractions. Breakfast featured a nice variety of breads and pastries, making each morning a treat. The room was clean and the presence of an elevator made it easy to manage our luggage. A downside was the spa, which was closed for the season. Also, the room felt a bit cramped, but it was a good base for exploring Zermatt. Not having a refrigerator in the room was a minor inconvenience, especially for longer stays. Overall, a pleasant visit, but some amenities could enhance the overall experience.

Clean hotel, close walking distance to the train.

missingWrote a review on Nov 12easy accessspacious roomnoise disturbance
Convenient access to the train station, perfect for hopping over to Zermatt. The room offered decent space compared to others in the area, making for a reasonably comfortable stay.
Proximity to the train station means constant noise, with trains rolling through every 20 minutes, which can disrupt sleep if you're sensitive to sound. The shower setup was cramped and awkward, with a shower head that constantly shifted and made washing a hassle. Basic amenities like an electric kettle were missing, leading to an inconvenient stay for caffeine cravings.

Had an amazing stay with friends! The staff were super helpful while we explored nearby hiking trails. We loved taking the bike transport to Gornergrat and soaking in the breathtaking mountain views. Breakfast was great, especially the Bircher Müsli. Perfect spot for adventuring out to the Matterhorn.
One downside was the shower, it felt small and awkward, which made it a bit inconvenient.

missingWrote a review on Jul 10spacious roomfriendly staffawkward showerdouble chargelimited breakfast variety
The room was spacious and conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, making travel to Zermatt easy. The complimentary breakfast featured a wide selection, ensuring there was something for everyone. However, taking a shower was a challenge due to the cramped setup, and the hotel mistakenly attempted to double charge me during my stay. Also, the breakfast lacked the variety of quality breads found in other Swiss hotels.

Just a top selection for a lightning trip in Tasch with great value for money. Taking a shower felt awkward because the shower was small and the head kept moving.
